I am so pumped for the new year!
I'm not usually one to make New Year's resolutions, mainly because I feel that you shouldn't have to wait until the start of the new year to change your life. However, I am determined to make 2015 a great year, and since I've adopted a penchant for making lists as of late, I thought I'd make some New Year's resolutions and post them here. This way, I can keep track of them, and I'm also held accountable for them when it gets to be about May and I've all but abandoned them. So here we go!
- To start using this blog. I want to use it as a sort-of diary, a way to share things in my life that I've done and that I love - my own personal happy space.
- To read more. I haven't got a lot of reading done, since I've been so busy with school, and that's something I hope to make more time for this year.
- To take better care of my body. This is a hard one for me because I tend to be lazy and eat lots of junk food, but I want to make a conscious effort to eat healthier, exercise more, and to treat my skin and hair better as well.
- To be more outgoing. I feel like in 2014 I definitely made progress with putting myself out there more, and that is definitely something I want to continue in 2015.
- To be happy. This is the most important one of all. This year I want to be able to rid myself of negativity in all forms, and continue to make time for the things and the people in my life that make me happy.
So there it is. My New Year's resolutions for 2015. Hopefully I can stick to these goals and really make 2015 great. Here's to an amazing year!
